Visit Joar Aga and the team at Aga Sideri. The cidery was established in 2018 and has grown to become one of the largest and best-selling producers in Norway. They produce high-quality apple cider and juice. Aga Sideri offers a farm shop and hosts tastings. It is located right next to the historic Agatunet.

Alde Sider

“Alde” is an old word for apple in Hardanger, and the man behind Alde Cider is Olav Bleie. He runs the family farm where apples have been cultivated for generations. Alde Cider produces premium apple juice and a rich variety of ciders from Hardanger.

Farm shop open Monday–Friday 08:00–18:00 and Saturday 09:00–18:00.

Draopar

Eidfjord: Tråavegen 11, 5783 Eidfjord

Draopar is the first cidery in Eidfjord, established in 2022. Two couples—Jan & Bergljot Maria and Kari & Jonas—run the cidery and are in the process of building both apple production and visitor experiences. Visit their farm shop at Tråavegen, where you can also meet sheep, horses, hens, and ducks.

Epli sideri

Epli Cidery (formerly Hardangergutane) has a vision of creating Norway’s national drink. They continuously strive to offer genuine and tasty products. The cidery was founded in 2025 by brothers Karl Magnus and Kristian. In 2024, Kristian and his wife Inger took over operations and have big plans for the future.

Hardanger Saft- og Siderfabrikk

Ulvik: Lekve Gard, Øvre Lekve 17, 5730 Ulvik

Pioneer Nils Lekve and his successors Eirik and Anna welcome you to Hardanger saft og siderfabrikk. At Lekve farm they produce cider, apple juice, and spirits. The factory is part of the Fruit and Cider Route in Ulvik, offering regular opening hours and tastings year-round. Drop-in visits include cider tastings and small bites during shop hours. Venue available for larger groups.

Hardangerbonden

Sekse: Seksevegen 62, 5778 Hovland

Hardangerbonden is Bonden Ingrid and Drengen Bård – a former teacher and petroleum engineer who love fresh air and hard work. The farm has around 10,000 apple trees, and they use only their own ingredients in production.

Hardangerbonden offers a farm shop, cider tastings during the high season, and group tastings year-round. Ingrid is also a popular speaker and teaches about fruit production through her social media channels.

Helleland gard

Lofthus: Hellelandsvegen 145, 5781 Lofthus

This farm has been in the family since 1684. Today, Olav H. Helleland and his wife Helga run the daily operations. Fruit cultivation has been the main focus for the past 50 years. They grow apples, pears, and plums, producing delightful quality beverages.
Helleland offers an open farm shop and drop-in tastings at scheduled times, with group tastings available all year on request.

Jaastad Sideri is a collaboration between sisters Eli and Kjersti, who run Jaastad Gjestetun, and the couple Elisabeth and Jørund Olav, who operate the Grønsnes fruit farm.

Aldegarden/Kveik Brygghus is located in Ulvik at Opheim farm. The farm has been an organic fruit farm since 2008. During the season, plums and apples are sold directly from the farm. Lie Gard is situated in the middle of Opedal in Lofthus, surrounded by fruit trees. Fruit has been produced here for generations, and today it is run by Knut and Tonje. They primarily grow apples, plums, and cherries for consumption, and press apples into cider and juice. Thousands of busy bees contribute to pollination, resulting in delicious honey.

Lofthus Ekspedisjon is idyllically located in the center of Lofthus. It’s a year-round gathering place for the community and a popular spot during the tourist season. Lofthus Sideri

Located at the end of the Queen’s Trail (Dronningstien), Lofthus Sideri is run by four childhood friends—Ivar, Åsmund, Halldor, and Halldor Elling—and their families, each with ancestral orchards in Eidnes and Lofthus.

They offer one of Norway’s most popular “fridge stops,” beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, and are a favored drop-in location.

Opedalstunet

Opedalstunet is a fruit farm beautifully located just above Lofthus center. Today, it’s run by Guro Grønsnes and Erland Opedal, with help from their sons Heine, Gaute, and Anve. They grow fruit for both consumption and cider production and manage a productive fir forest. Guro also makes juice, jam, preserved fruit, and cookies.
The farm shop sells cider, juice, jams, preserved fruit, and baked goods. Cider tastings and simple food available.

Kari-Anne and Bernt Sondre met during the Hardanger International Cider Festival in 2022, and have since taken over Kari-Anne’s family farm, bought the neighboring farm, and started a ciderhouse. Eirik, the heir to the family farm, represents the 10th generation on the estate. He produces cider rooted in tradition and history, combined with determination and innovation. Located on the shores of the Sørfjorden in Hardanger, farm no. 57/2 is home to Store Naa Cider Company. The family also runs “Egg og Potetkjellaren på Nå”, a farm shop offering a selection of local products.
